Thrift Store
Visit our Thrift Store located at 218 E Beale St. in Historic Downtown Kingman. Adequate parking and convenient display of clothing, knick-knacks, household utensils, furnishings, tools, appliances, crutches and other medical needs. You wonder if we have it, we wonder if we can find it. New (to the store) merchandise is received Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Thrift Store also provides sack lunches for the homeless.
The Thrift Store is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Please donate your gently used items.
You can bring them to our store during open hours or if that is inconvenient, please call us and we will arrange to pick up large items. Receipts available.
Your donations are put on display for resale. Income from sales is used to buy food and provide support for those in need. Specifically, support is provided by Vincentian Services in the form of vouchers for propane, medicine and other needs not provided from the Thrift Store directly. Blankets, clothing, furnishings and other personal items are also made available when a need is demonstrated. Thank you and may God bless you for your support.
Our goal is to eliminate hunger and homelessness and promote self support.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Collect, sort and display items in our Thrift Store
- Help customers in the Thrift Store
- Meet with those in need at Vincentian Services (next door to the Thrift Store.)
- Prepare food boxes and other items for determined need.
Please come to the Thrift Store or talk to any of our many volunteers. It's easy and you will enjoy working with dedicated people.
Call 753-4399 or visit during open hours, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Volunteers can choose their own hours and help as often as they choose. Try it! There is no religion requirement.
Workers at St. Mary Conference are volunteers. They receive no salary or reward other than the satisfaction of knowing they are continuing the work of the Lord.
Vincentian Services To People
If you are in need of services, such as food, clothing, blankets, or small household goods, please visit our Client Services Department located next to the Thrift Store at the blue door. They are open Monday, Wednesday, And Friday 9:00-11:00am. Other services may be available on an individual need if funds permit. The sign in sheet pulled from the waiting area at 11:00am to ensure that we can adequately serve our clients who visit us. If you find that you did not get in before 11:00am and are in need of food, you may go to the front counter of the Thrift Store and request a sack lunch, which is available to you every day until you can get into Client Services the next day they are open.
